Hydrophobic PTFE Membrane Discs With Optional PP/PET Supportive Backing

PTFE filters, also known as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filters, are a type of filter membrane that exhibit chemical and biological inertness. Applications

Hydrophobic PTFE membrane disc filters are chemically resistant to virtually all solvents. They can be used for working with aggressive media such as strong acids, alcohols, bases, aromatics. The PTFE membrane disc units are ready-to-use and allow for simple, rapid and reliable ultra-cleaning of small volume samples for HPLC or GC analysis. PTFE disc filters can also be used to prevent moisture passing through air vents. Hydrophobic PTFE membranes can also be used for filtering aqueous solutions, if pre-wetted with alcohol.
